Dance Tutors Job Opportunities Chester

House of Dance is seeking enthusiastic, creative and personable dance teachers to teach children from 4 – 18 years old in Chester. With hours to suit (part time and full time positions available), this is the perfect role for someone with background in dance wanting to progress their career with a young, fresh and forward thinking dance company.

House of Dance is Chester’s leading dance and performing arts company. We run dance and theatre classes for children, young adults and more recently, adults.

Established in 2013, HOD have grown from a single venue to over 10 school and community venues. We are anticipating further expansion in 2019 and would love to hear from you if you wish to be part of the journey.

About the role:

We are looking for freelance tutors who can engage groups children and young adults who are passionate about teaching and developing exciting and fresh thinking creative programmes.

We welcome candidates who are willing to develop the portfolio of courses and workshops and can commit to ongoing teaching.

Candidates should be able to:

• Develop teaching materials/resources
• Be able to adapt their teaching to embrace the range of abilities
• Be an excellent motivator to help develop student confidence

What you will be doing:

• Delivering your Dance sessions during both schools and communities, developing the children with your passion, knowledge and enthusiasm
• Running fun Extra-Curricular Clubs
• Acting as a role model to children who really look up to you
• Building fantastic relationships with School staff
• Improving your practice through your ongoing training and development
